What scope would be best to put on a browning X-bolt stainless stalker, that's chambered in 7mm rem mag?

How far u planning to shoot a nikon pro staff 3-9x40 is a great all around scope

I'm looking to go anywhere from 100 to 500 yds. I have a Nikon pro staff on my custom 10/22, and I love it, but I don't know if it has the reach to match what I need to get to. I have a scope in mind but I'm hearing nothing but negative about it. It's a Simmons Whitetail Classic 6.5-20X40.

Decent scope.....for cheap. Of it was me I'd put a Burris or Weaver 4-12x40 on it. My x7m 7 mag has a 4-12x40/44 on it and it works awesomely

Yeah I was looking at that, seems damn cool. I think the Mil-Dot has more than just esthetics behind it as well. Do you know a price? I can't find one.
