What cal. rifle did you have it mounted on?...20MM Lahti?:D

when you say LENS fell mean the front lens/glass fell out off the body? or just the sunshade/thread cover came off?

tacticalfun 05-28-2012 06:48 PM

.308. And the whole lens came right out onto the bench

m72law 05-28-2012 06:53 PM

definitely a defective scope!! you buy it locally or offline?

tacticalfun 05-28-2012 06:58 PM

m72law 05-28-2012 07:04 PM

That truly sucks. I bought a very nice Weaver V-Classic $300 scope a few years back, and mounted it on my little 243 Weatherby. Tried to shoot with it for 2 days and it just wouldn't hold POI. Sent it to ATK(along with target printout) and they needed to replace the WHOLE INTERNAL ASSEMBLY and rebuilt it better, than just another scope off the assembly line. Came back perfect in less than 3 weeks.
Hope Bushnell has the same Customer Service for you and your scope. Sometimes with all the scopes that go through an assembly line in a single day, and I'm sure there's a lot, there's bound to be a lemon that gets through, and of course we're the one's that find them, out of all the choices to choose from.
