no. unless your using a very highend scope like schmittbender nightforce or something its actually a detriment due to most scopes in the under 1k$ range dont have consistant click to click adjustment in the edges of their adjustment range.
canted bases arent needed unless your shooting at very very long ranges in the 800+ distances using something like 308 223 30-06 as most scopes dont offer enough adjustment to get that far
for 300-600yards its not an issue
