Save yourself the trouble of holster shopping and get a N82 tactical holster...it is the most comfortable holster of all.suede backing (great against skin and itsfriction helps with minimizing movement), then a neoprene layer (to provide a little cushion but mote importantly a sweat/water barrier from the next layer of), great leather (very durable). The retention part is a high quality and very thick elastic nylon that over little time conforms to the pistol and provides great retention. Can be had for only $40 and has a lifetime warranty. They also make a "professional model" that uses a plastic retention that is pistol molded but not every pistol model has one

Congrats Brue! Put about a hundred through mine so far and no issues. I picked up the grip extensions on Amazon. I would recommend them if you need a little bit more to hold on to

Milt Sparks is now making the VersaMax-2 for the XDS. My best friend got one for his XDS 45 and it is an amazing IWB holster. I have a VM-2 for my 1911's and I would recommend them all day long. It's a LONG wait to get it once you place your order but it's well worth it.

I shot one a couple of weeks ago. You'll love it. Soft shooter with a nice grip!
