Congrats on your new purchase!

So many XD pistols, so little gun safe shelf space....or was that too little budget?

I took my new XDs 9 to the range and put 150 rounds through her. This gun is awesome, accurate, very light recoil. After taking this gun to the range a few more times this may
become me EDC gun.

Did the same thing on Friday. Added Talon grips and had gunsmith add Trujicon HD NS for these eyes if mine (you have to get the ones for a Sig). Jackson Leatherworks had made me a holster for the XDS45. Fits perfectly on the 9. This is a great gun. Will carry XDS9 in nice weather and prob Glock 30S in the cold. Happy, happy, happy

When I'm at the range, I typically wear those fingerless bicycling gloves one can get for cheap from Walmart, Target, etc.

How do you like the Talon grips? How much thickness does it add to the grip?

The Talon grips add very little thickness to the grip. They came in a letter size envelope. I bought the rubberized ones and like them a lot. The XDS has an aggressive grip and the Talon's smooth it out a bit. I shot 150 rounds this afternoon. No problems at all. XDS is great shooter.

Thanks for the info. I have the XDs45.....was just wondering how well the Talons worked. Sounds like you are quite satisfied with them.

Just ordered a set, more out of curiosity than anything else. Hope they don't take long to arrive!
