I've got an XDs and compared to the LC9, the Nano, the SA EMP, LCP, and the Kahr PM40....for the size of the gun, the recoil is the same, solid, manageable, and it feels more back into your hand than rise (flip). I bought a Pierce grip extension for it, for my pinkie; thats the trick. It made it perfect, easier to shoot, and better repeat shots. My hands are big, and the full size XDm does feel better, but its just to big for me to carry. The XDs really is a nice shooter for its size, and I think you can shoot it all day.

Haha...my briefcase! I have a crossbreed for my 3" Kimber, yep, out of the pile of holsters I have its the best of the bunch. I dont use an IWB holster much, I prefer the undershirts with the holster built in.

Yeah I hear ya, before I got this crossbreed i never carried IWB, found it very uncomfortable, especially in FL. I usually pocket carried a .32, .380, 38 spl or 9mm or a G27 owb in the winter. Again, depending on the weather and my attire but I want to get used to carrying a larger caliber most of the time.

I carry mine in a black hawk iwb... but I'm currently and patiently waiting for the PJ holster iwb kydex... I don't carry owb much... just got my xds yesterday and shot it today... I love it...

Walmart special Blackhawk $20, for me very comfortable and works well, and w all my extra money trying to feed my little XD ammo it'll do til I can get a Crossbreed.
