I have had my xdm9 for a while and so far it's been great, no problems at all been putting any where from 200 to 500 rounds threw it every week end.

thats what my wife picked out. after shooting hers i got me a xdm45. incredible guns.

Great to hear, glad you're loving it. I should be getting mine in about 2 weeks, loving these great reports. My only decisions to make are 9 v. .40 (leaning towards 9) and 3.8 v. 4.5 (leaning towards 4.5).

i like her 9mm a LOT i dont say that about 9mm very often. 19+1 is hard to beat. if your not gonna go 9mm skip the 40 and get the 45!!

I agree w JonM, 45 is the way to go. I love everything about it except the price of ammo. I went w the XDM 9 w 4.5" and the muzzle flip is similar to 45, OK accuracy, one mag mysteriouly holds up at 14 but once loaded, it has never failed to fire all 19 +1 rds.

( I've been using 115 gr. loads w 3.5-4" @ 25 yds which acceptable but not target worthy. When I called the company, they said 3.5 was fine, and I debated eating the S&H cost. A tech advised me to try heavier loads, 124 to 147 gr before I gave up hope. I didn't bother to tell him I already had a case of 115 gr. fodder)
