Default Xdm compensator

Any body have any experience using these specifically the springer precision 9mm 3 port? I've been look for a good compensator for the xdm but threaded barrels seem to be at a premium and very difficult to find. They only thing I'm not very sure about either is replacing the match grade barrel from the factory. What kind of fitting issues can be expected and will this really help with muzzle rise and faster follow ups? Will I lose any reliability? Any suggestion for a barrel threaded to fit the long 9mm 3 port would also be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried different types of 9mm ammo? I know that on my XD 45 with 230 grains have more kick to it so I stepped down to 185 and it did it for me.
