The XDm is a fine gun. I have an XDm45 and XDs45. Also used to have an XD45 compact.

The XDm9 5.25" is right at the top of my pistol wish list. I've shot them and was very impressed. I'd love it if they offered the 5.25 in 357sig.

Yes, I agree. I wonder why they don't offer any XdMs in .357Sig?

Probably won't happen. Demand must eclipse manufacturing costs.

Springfield already makes a .40, stuff a .357 barrel in. Same with the .45, stuff in a 10mm barrel.

Just order a 9mm 4.5" Black Friday special. 489 plus 6 for shipping. Now I need to patiently wait for it to show up.

Years ago, i bought my XDM - 4.5" w SS top for $625 and the blued model was $589. If you are getting it for $489 - that is a fantastic price !

I would still advise you to go for the built in adj sights and fiber optic front of the 5.25. Wish they would offer them on the 4.5" model.

FYI, my 5.25 was listed for $849 at Bass Pro, same as Gander and at the only other LGS of the 3 in my area that had it in inventory. Got $75 off to Tday, then another 10% for applying for credit card (used to get same discount on 500 rds of 9mm ammo), so I netted about $696.60.
