No news on when they'll be in stores. I'd suspect mid-year. I would also expect a 40 and 9 to follow closely behind.

Yes I recently purchased one. And I love it. Comes with 2 mags. 9 plus 1 and another mag which holds 13 plus 1. Great feel, great look. Amazingly low recoil for a compact 45. Trigger reset is nice helps to you to keep nice tight groups. I just want to add night sights to mine and I'm done. Great carry piece

Thanks for the info. I just bought it yesterday and took it to the range. It is an awesome gun and will be a great cc gun if
I can find a good holster for it. Have fun with your new toy!

Parkerholsters.com make great cc holsters for the XDM 45. Or the Galco holster is nice also.

Great iwb holster is the Crossbreed super tuck. I have one for almost all my carry guns. The XDM45 fits in the standard XD holster too.

To the OP the XDM 45 is a great carry gun, I have a 3" 1911 also and it is a little thicker like jon M stated but also 1/2 the price of my Kimber. Recoil is not very bad at all for a small framed .45

Never shot the Glock couldn't compare. Better recoil than some 1911's tho.

Plus 1 on trigger pull/reset I think they made a great improvement in this department from the xd models.
