I just bought the XD45 and have a question about parts for it. Does anyone make a replacement part for the piece that shows there is a round in the chamber. Specifically, do they make said piece with a white/orange mark on it? Stock it is hard to tell if it is up or not as it blends with the rest of the slide.

Nitro - I don't know if we have interacted yet, so Welcome to the Forum.

While I don't have a specific answer to your question, have you thought of doing a little model painting like when you were a kid? Get a really fine brush and apply Tru Glo or something to the Chamber Indicator??

Might be cheaper than buying a new part...

To my knowledge there is not an aftermarket chamber indicator but I haven't had a trouble with my 2 XDs. Jd's suggestions of painting it would ceratinly. I would caution you in painting it as the brightness of the newly painted indicator may get in the way of your aiming by blocking or overpowering the front sight. I know the indicator on my 45 sticks up much higher then on my 9. Just something to think about.

Thanks for the welcome. I have thought of model paint but wasn't sure is it would last. I also had thought about overpowering the sights with adding it. I wanted to see what people had to say about it. I am new to this arena and want to learn.
