The slide stop.....gets in the way if one uses a "high thumb" grip.

Yeah I really wish we could own the XDM here in California. Very nice looking piece.

Bought it just to own a .45, wasn't sure if I really liked it so I smoked a few hundred rounds through it and she held her ground. Now I really like it.

My xd is hands down the best performing and most durable hand gun I have shot and owned. I recomend this gun to everyone I know who is looking to buy a handgun.

I have owned and carried Colts,Berettas,Sigs,Glocks and finally my XD-40SC.

It is the most reliable(not one malfunction in over 5000 rds), comfortable to carry, most concealable hand gun I have ever owned. It also points more naturally in my hand than any other pistol I have ever tried.

I have a compact XD45 and have had it for five years. It has successfully cycled thousands and thousands of rounds. I have had an issue with some SWC reloads jamming. The spent casing would impact the next round waiting to be fed while being extracted. All of the specs on the loads checked out and they work fine in other guns. It has not had any other issues and I trust the gun with my life.
