So far so good XD9.

Maybe 500 rounds with my xd40sc and no problems. I think i'm more accurate with it than my full size Glock 17 at 10 yards.

Ive been looking for this article but i cant find it anywhere. It was from a few years ago and they did a torture test to a XD40 and a 40 cal Glock(not sure which one exactly). It included firing a few thousand rounds after beign dropped, wet, frozen, muddy, sandy, and anything else you could possibly think of. I was surprised how well both of them did. I dont remember exaclty how may malfunctions each had but i do remember they were both below 10 and the XD had 1 or 2 less then the Glock. I was just very surprised how reliable both guns are. I hope my new XDM is just as good as my old XD used to be. It was time for it to retire.

I have an XDM .45 with 800 rounds through and not one jam or FTF. I cleaned it once at 500 rounds. Ive only used pmc ammo. IMO it's a reliable and accurate handgun.

I have about 700-800 rounds through my XDM, and close to 1000 through my XD, and I've only had one issue and it was a magazine issue with the XD (I'm the 2nd owner of it, so it wasn't NIB). Which since then has been fixed/replaced, I love both of them and wouldn't give them up if I had the opportunity. Very reliable pistols, you should be more than happy with yours when you get it.

I just recently traded my xd40 in for the v10 model and both run through any kind of ammo better than any semi-auto i've seen. The regular .40 had about 9000 rounds through it in less than 6 months and my v10 has had 1000 in the last month. Also i do clean after every session, even if its only a magazine or two.

i have had my XDm40 for about a year now with only one FTF! tried it again after ejecting it, still would fire, and the primer looked the same as the spent cases, just a bad round. i don't attribute this to the pistol as it more than likely would happened no matter what pistol that round was put into. i have put around 500 rounds through mine with it working very well with several different types of ammo. i will also say this about the XDm40, of all the 40 caliber pistols i have owned or shot, this is by far my favorite. i have also give some cosideration of buying an XDm in 45! i would suggest the XD or the XDm as choice to consider when purchasing a pistol. mine is a great pistol.
