Ahaha! No no no 8" overall not barrel! A ruger .45 full size lol. 8" is the overall on the 4.5" slide xdm as well i actually 3 o'clock carry and its no problem with moving sitting standing comfort ect.

Curious has anyone used the storm lake .40 to 9mm conversion barrels on their xdm? Thinking about getting one seeing how its $160 vs the price of another xdm (although it would be a good excuse to buy another one) but I haven't been able to find much info on them
