Theres a bunch a youtube videos that go into great detail. A lot more than I'm willing to type right now. Go crazy, try different colors, the good thing about it is if you dont like it, some non-acetone fingernail polish remover and an old toothbrush will take it right off. Oh and clean towels, lots and lots of clean towels. I prefer paper towels just so they dont leave any fibers afterwards. But yeah, i saw an AR lower a guy did in red/white/blue with all the colors fading into each other. Looked pretty sweet, a bunch a glock guys are into it also. Just browse the ol interwebs and make sure you plan, plan for problems, and execute. Ya know measure twice, cut once motto... Good luck and post pics

BTW theres a method out there using crayons... Tisk tisk smh. It may work but show some pride in your firearms.

I did mine with white nail polish. Brush it on then gently wipe away the excess with polish remover. I don't have a pic of my xd but look at how my 1911 turned out.

Have had my XD9SC since last spring. 1000-1500 rounds. First handgun and I love it. I carry it as much as possible in a Cross Bread. One jam the one and only time I tried cheap steel case ammo.

Thanks for the warning. I was about to try some nice cheap TulAmmo to save money. You get what you pay for!

By, far. For these guns i would rather use a brass reload over a tula. However independence brand ammo can be had for about the same price if not a hair cheaper than a brass reload (at least when i bought some two weeks ago) in .45 it was the same old 230gr fmj brass new manufacture. 1000 rds for just over $200
