Now over 2000 rounds on my XDm 9mm Compact.
I managed to break the striker retaining pin and damaged the striker in the process. Had a friend make me some dud rounds to use like snap caps, only they weigh enough that you can't tell the difference when loading. Seemed like a great idea at the time to help me with anticipation. One of them jammed the striker so bad it took some serious work to get it loose. In the process the striker retaining pin broke. Tiny piece got stuck in the striker itself. Another great idea bites the dust.
SA replaced the striker retaining pin with no hassles. My gunsmith found the tiny piece, removed it, and the gun has been flawless ever since.
Liked it so well, I just bought an XDm 5.25" Competition Series 45acp. Only have about 150 rounds through it so far. I love it.
