I know what your saying, I run ameriglo idot pros on my carry firearm and they are pretty bright. Can't the vials crack or something like that on those type of sights? Luckily that's why there's so many different makers of sights because everyone likes different things.

I thank I'm going to go with night sights. And a .460 Rowland conversion for hogs when I'm working at the hunting camp. That's probably about it. I'm not in to flashing these things up much at all. I just wonted it to be a little different. Hey a .460 XD, now that's different.

Supposedly if they get struck hard and direct enough but theyre in a steel shroud and to me seem plenty secure and safe. But if they do for sone reason ill just get a new set, its $100 so its not breaking the bank just a neusance.

How about these? I like that they have 2 glow rings powered by charging. And they also have the self illuminating capsules. How long will they be good fore before the capsules stop glowing?

Usually night sights have a warranty for like 12 years I believe. My ameriglos have a 12 year warranty.

Hmm one way to find out for sure is to try them but the idea if charging my sights doesnt appeal to me even if they charge quickly, i like 24/7 availability. Up to you if you like them try them out let me know what you think.

You don't have to charge them. They are self illuminating like the ones you were talking about. They also have 2 rings around them that can be charged.

I use the trigicon with the orange front post, quick front site acquisition during the day and three tritium dots at night.
