DefaultXD 9 service

Ok so I bough myself a Springfield XD 9 service bi-tone a few months ago, and ive been thinking about doing some work to it. installing a trigger kit in it, maybe a new recoil spring, and match barrel.
do most trigger kits just change the pull of the trigger in lbs, or do they take the slack out of the pull and adjust the reset too?
also, are any of these mods legal in the IDPA ESP class?

It depends on the kit you get. Call Dave Lawver at 626-859-0299, he manufactures a lot of the parts and springs and is a true expert on XD's.
