Yeah, I'd say they're just jacking up the prices. I was in a shop yesterday that had a .45 XD for $569 and that was about $100-150 over what it should have been...as was everything else they had. That's XDm prices, maybe they think people won't know the difference. You can find brand new XDs for $400-500 easy.
