Default xd 45 acp

Why the heck does the pawn shop in my area wants me to pay $602.00 for an Springfield xd 45 acp. Plus $47.56 for sales tax. Which comes up to about $650. What's another 45 caliber gun for the same price???

I paid $500 otd for my NIB XD45c. You need to find another dealer.

Is it an XD or an XDM?

Is it 4" or 5"?

What sight package? Standard? Night Sights? Tru Glow?

A standard XD 4" with standard sights retails new in my area for $499.00 plus tax

Pawn shops are notoriously ignorant on gun values and tend to price them by looking up MSRP and pricing everything as though it were a new gun. Rule of thumb dealing with them is to waive cash at half of what there asking and leave if they get pissy.

50/50 chance they chase you down and accept your offer. Just depends on if the guy your dealing with knows how much they own it for.

Because they are trying to rip you off? You sure its an xd and not an xdm? You can get a new xdm. 45 for $650 which is the average, you can find an xd for $500 or less, I would highly recommend the xdm if its in your price range, check out the XDS (.45 compact single stack) or you could get a 1911

Yeah, I've seen brand new XD models going online for $373 to $429. Keep searching and screw that pawn shop.
But if you do have the extra funds, certainly look into the XDm or XDs.

Find another dealer. I paid $550 otd with 3 spare mags for my 4" Service and $600 for my Compact, with 4 mags, 3 boxes of ammo and a Serpa holster.

You can find a better deal, just look around.
