Default Where do I buy my XDM 40?

I want to get an XDm .40 but do not know where to get the best price. Do you guys have any web sites that give good deals?

Also, I see on some sites that they are selling the XDm in Bi-tone. Is that the same as a stainless?

Everything I read on the XDm is glowing and I shot one and it felt incredible . Do you have any more critical comments on the gun?

What would be considered a good price for the 4.5" .40 XDm in stainless?

Thanks for your help

I have no critical comments for the gun at all. Discount Guns for Sale - Buds Gun Shop usually has really good prices and free shipping, but you will have to pay your ffl around $20 or more to pick it up.

The bi-tone is the stainless slide model.

+1 on Bud's. I've had great service and have purchased several firearms from them.

OBTW, I hate 40 S&W, step down to 9mm for ammo price or up to 45ACP for stopping power. The 40 S&W was an answer to a non-existing question.

Or just ignore the old man about everything but Bud's.

Get her dirty, then clean her so she starts to respect you. When her trust is complete, she will serve you well for a lifetime!

From a shop that deals primarily with firearms, and not a place the deals primarily with other sporting goods.

Ignore the old man at your own peril for he is wise in the way of the gun. He just has an unhealthy obsession over anything designed by JMB.

I've bought several from Bud's myself and they are a great store.

Word of warning - find a local FFL first that will transfer the gun for you and do this in advance of buying it. You don't state your location and some places the fees eat up any potential savings. Also note that if you intend to use a credit or debit card that Bud's charges an additional 3% (as a LOT of vendors do)...

For the price savings of buying online from Buds, unless the purchase price is over 10% less at Buds, I'd just buy local.

622x1.03= $640.66 + $25 fee at shop = $665.66

622/665.66=0.9344 = 6.56% added on.

I'm considering Buds over local as well but I haven't searched around that much. I'll gladely pay $20 more for a gun to buy it from a local store.

I think I can get a deal through a local shop though

This shop links to the above one BEAR MOUNTAIN SPORTS

$604 is a better price than Buds! Deal good till 7/31

As A FFL I can tell you that in my area, it is always cheaper to buy the gun from Bud's, reason is Sales Tax, ours is now at 10.3%. I charge $25 to transfer and my XDM 40 runs $585. Bud's has always been able to beat my price & then you get to keep at least $25-50 of your money. Plus I get the satisfaction of seeing you get your gun & the state can choke on n ot receiving the sales tax money- ****in Robbers
