what's the trigger pull lbs
Does anyone know what the trigger pull is on the xd and can u get a lighter pull anywhere.
|
I took my guns to the local gunsmith and had each one checked. All my Hi-Points were under 5-pounds of pull. The 380 CF came in at 3-pounds of pull, and the .45 JHP was 4-pounds.

Keep in mind on a SD weapon if ever you unfortunately have to use it, lightened triggers will be used against you. Range / race guns no prob. But prosecutors will question why.

O no ****. That's crap.

My XD 45 tactical came from the factory with a 6.5 lb trigger pull, i got the Springer Prisision trigger kit for it and now breaks at 4 lb one bad A$$ gun.

Looks like a bad ass piece. I have owned nothing but 45 handguns and finally bought my xd 40. Very pleased with this round. Was a little on the scetchy side at first but I am very impressed with the 40 cal. Must buy a few more.

The Springfield website lists the stock trigger range in the 5.5 to 7.7 lb range. I'm sure there are custom triggers to get that down a lot. Mine could use a lighter trigger, but until I fix the guy behind the trigger (me), I'm not going to use the trigger as an excuse.
OK, about to demonstrate why they should call me Shameless ... How do you measure the pull? Hang a weight from a loop around the trigger? Pull the trigger with a spring scale? |
