Avoid ankle holsters. If you need it in a moot second, can you really get it ready?

Even as a backup? I have a subcompact xd 40 and was looking at finding one. Not many out there.

THE XD**SC seems a bit heavy and a bit large for that sort of thing, IMHO.

Yeah. Past of it is I'm not used to CC on the hip or small of the back. Any suggestions on best way to carry it? And also good quality holsters to use with it?

I carry mine in a Galco KingTuk IWB holster. It
is so comfortable you forget you are carrying !

That does look comfortable. Do u carry the extended mag with it in that? Most people I know who carry only keep the reg mag on hand.

I occasionally carry the extended mag with it but it
makes it much harder to conceal. This gun with the reg mag conceals beautifully.
