This started with a young man helping his mother find values so she could sell of his late fathers gun collection.
I married my wife 19 years ago and wouldn't trade her for anything but unforturnately like MOST wives, she does not share my firearm enthusiams. My 18 yr old son does and has since was big enough to shoulder his first .22. I did not mean to imply that there are NO women who value guns but lets be honest, most large gun collections wind up being sold off to support the widows of most gun collectors.
As collectors, be we male or female, we owe it to our children to ensure THEY receive our collections, especially when most of thier possitive childhood memories of time with Dad was spent using said collection.
I've not heard of many kids getting introduced to shooting and hunting by there Mothers but I would certaily encourage it and hope to see more women join our ranks.
