We get a lot of people from ND in AZ during the winter. AZ is a free state and we dont have those mag disconnect laws passed by a bunch of politicians with a brain disconnect. I have yet to figure out a reason to ban a flash hider except looks. My idiot kids live in the PRK so I have to go there to visit them which is rarely. At least they own guns.

What's wrong with a safety disconnect? My go-to EDC is my SR9c. The safety disconnect makes me feel better when I clean my firearm (even as safe as I always am). But I also like the humongous "LOADED WHEN UP" indicator and thumb safety features, so I'm probably not going to convince anyone here am I??

I don't have a problem with the safety features on a SR9c. I don't carry mine because of the manual safety but that doesn't mean you should not. Just train to always sweep it off when you draw.

I understand why some people don't like a mag disconnect but the truth is it is highly unlikely to ever cause you a problem.
