Trigger
OK when I get my compact next week. I'm defenitly gonna play with it for awhile before I do anything. But I'm looking at either Springer Precision or Canyon Creek for a trigger job
I think it's only common sense to run at least 500 rnds thru it before I do any thing to break it in and see if there are any malfunctions I'm assuming the trigger job will void the warranty at least on those parts Will SA adjust the trigger pull and smooth and shorten the reset so the warranty stays intact and does anyone have experience with Canyon Creek or Springer Precision |
If you are buying a Springfield, you can have Springfield Custom do your work.

I have a buddy that uses the trigger improvement kits from Powder River and these are really good. I've shot a few that he's installed these in and it really makes the XD trigger sweet. While I haven't put one in my XD .45 Compact yet - I probably will when I get done with my 1911 tinkering.
I know Springfield will also do a trigger job with good results - from what I've read. I'm just a do it yourself guy. Here's a link to the stuff... XD Trigger Kits - Powder River Precision, Inc. |
