I have the XDm-9 Compact and its a great little gun. So far 573 rounds without a jam yet. My range report is below:

you won't regret buying one. I know 3 people (myself included) who carry a subcompact in .40.

I carry one every day its a little chunky but i absolutely love it. the only problem i have is holsters i like the serpa but the gap between the end of the gun and the end of the holster makes it top heavy.

I've got one .40. Reliable and surprisingly accurate. A bit chunky if you're used to a snubbie .38.

Thick........Nice gun, but the slide width needs to be compact too, lol.

I carried a .40 for a long time, the thickness always bothered me.
