So, with your line of reasoning then all revolvers are a "joke" too, right? For people like you that don't "get" the joke, it's about having as slim and compact as you can get .45acp pistol. Just because you don't understand why that would be beneficial, doesn't make it a "joke". Nice first post....

What do you expect out of a slim/compact .45? A twenty round banana clip?

It's just slim not shorter, you can get a glock 30 in a 45 acp and have 10 rounds, or a sub compact xd, power is always in numbers! I don't care about revolvers thats why Sam browning made the 1911 because he didn't like revolvers, btw this a xd forum not a revolver forum, I'm just saying my opinion, thats why this is a forum

With a good inside holster you hide damn near anything with a normal t shirt. I'll modify my wardrobe a little just so I don't have worry about capacity. Seems like the xds would make a decent secondary weapon on your ankle. Wouldn't carry as primary.

I agree totally with you on that point. The XDs is made just for that, better concealment. I see in the future that Springfield armory will make an extended magazine for the XDs. Don't be surprise if in the long run, you will see the XDs in other calibers. Some people are so narrow minded. Please guys take off the blinders.
