Default Glocks suck

Both have so far proven to be reliable dependable platforms. Some will like one over the other. I prefer the Glock for many reasons (but mostly because it does not look like a stack of legos, slapped together by a child with downs syndrome, like the XD does ).

I have owned Glocks for many years, and in all those years thousands of rounds later guess what. Not one time have any of them ever failed to go bang. Even if I am shooting some crappy made in Turkey 9mm subgun only ammo. I can always hit what I am aiming at with them. Tell me now why do they suck?
I felt compeled to say somthing to, I can see we are going to get along just fine!

A friend of mine bought the XD45 Service, and has liked it so far. I compared the grip to a full frame 1911, and they are darn near identical. So, if you know that a 1911 will fit and work for you, then the XD45 should be the same. I have shot it a few times, and I like it as well. I need another pistol like... well you get the idea.

I have the XD45 compact and enjoy the versitility of it, it comes with a 10 and 13 round mag, the 13 round has a sleeve that extends the grip. As for the Glocks sucking I have a G19 and like it as well. I guess it boils down to personal preference and exsperiance. I for instance had an issue with a Sig and will most likly never own another, actually traded it in on a Taurus...uhh ohh I hear a resounding " Taurus's suck " comeing...again boils down to exsperiances, I have 3 and think they are great..

I've owned the XD in a .45 tactical, .45 Service, .45 compact, 9mm tactical and 9mm SC.

My favorite is easily the .45 service model.

The XD's are super relaible. My daily carry gun has around 7,000 rounds through it. It's rock solid.

Send your XD in to Scott at Springer Precision for a carry trigger, new sights and a couple of other things and you've got a really sweet machine.

Default Xd 45

bsolutely love the thing. Travels everywhere with me, and would love to test me and the gun through an IDPA course.

I love my XD45C I have been shooting 150 rounds a week for the last 4 weeks the 4" barrel is tuff at 25 yards but if I ever have to use it when it counts it will not be 25 yards. The long part of my house is half that.

I bought a Xd 45 for my Master at arms son who hasn't been on leave to see it. He'll be the first to put some lead downrange

I have a 45c. It is my avatar. It has been a great gun. Never had a problem with it. I trust it as much as any of my carry guns. You can not go wrong with a XD.

I have an XD45 and love it. I also own a Glock 22 and S&W Sigma 9mm and i think that they are all good sidearms. I see no real difference in the XD and the glock. I know they are different Calibers but the firearm themselves are nice. I really like the part of having 13+1 in 45. I never leave home without my XD.

Notdku, I have an X9, XD40, and XD45. They are just good pistols. I shoot the 9 and 45 in competition. I don't know where the Glock remarks came from, since you didn't ask.

XDs are great. Any caliber will serve you well.
