Default New XD(m) 9mm!

Went down to the local shop today to check out a few handguns, not really planning on buying... I ended up leaving with the 3.8 Compact and firing 200 through it today. Boy is it fun and accurate! Definitely fit in my hand better than the G19 I tried, which is what I thought I might buy. I'm sure I'll get one of those eventually too . Couldn't be happier with my purchase, especially with the added bonus of 3 mags and an extra mag pouch!

Just wanted to say thanks for all of the info on these forums making my choice much easier! You all are a fantastic wealth of knowledge. Also if any of you have some tips/tricks, feel free to drop them here!

On a side note, for those of you who saw my .22 thread, I ended up with the Marlin 795, and that is also absolutely awesome! Makes my amateur shooting look way better than it is haha.

I've been eyeing an XDM 3.8 (9mm) compact for quite some time. I've read lots of good things about the XDM 3.8. Hickok45 on youtube's review sold me. I'll have to post a video review once I get the funds to buy and shoot one.

pakrat...what model is that? Doesn't look like an XD sub. Looks like the same size as an XDm Compact like mine, but an XD
