After a couple of range visits, I am still very impressed with the XD SC. Definitely no buyer's remorse.

Elemental, I hear you on the no pinky grip with the short mag being a pain. Do yourself a favor and get a few of these

Springfield Armory XD Series

I have them for my XD40sc carry mags and couldn't be happier.

KBlue, it came with one extended mag. But thanks for the link. It would be nice to have a couple more.

Oh, duh. I see now that it's just a grip extension, and not an extended mag. Nice! I'll definitely be picking up a couple of those.
