Default New XD-45!

Just got my xd-45 4" and am loving it! The XD Shoots great and feels really great in my hands. I am very confident holding this gun. Sights line up very well. My only complaint is when the magazine is full, in order to release the mag you have to put pressure on the bottom of the mag. But I heard that the spring in the mag just needs to be broken in. Shot 50 rds after work the other day, here are the pics!

That is an outstanding weapon! That was my first handgun a number of years ago and I still have it today. After thousands of rounds with no issues it still runs like a champ. Give it about 500 rounds to break in and the action will tighten up nicely.

Nice shooting by the way.

I bought a xdm 40 the other day and my only complaint was the mag release, when it still had rounds in it. The thing almost took two hands to press.
Congrats on a great gun purchase nice shooting.

I'm still waiting on my XD45 to jam; i almost always use the wallyworld ammo (cheap) and still haven't had a failure. I love that pistol. My mag release did get better with use, but on the plus side, in a real, saving-your-butt situation, you probably won't need to drop a full mag, just an empty.

Beware the plastic loop "holster"; it may have grit or sharp edges that need to be made smooth before they can mar your slide's finish.

I had the same issue with the mag but don't worry. It will loosen up over time. My issue was with the 40 xdm and thank god it was ambi cuz if I had to use my right I would have been screwed.
