new gun!!!
 
just got a xd 40 and hopefully going out to shoot this week. this is my first handgun and will be my first time shooting a handgun. i own a 12 gauge and have shot it a few times just kinda wondering what to expect.

Congrats! You've picked up a fine weapon!! Give it about 500 rounds to break in and it will really come to life.

well i took my little brother out to shoot the .22 and decided once we were done id shoot the 50 rounds i had brought with me. i was a little nervous at first but nothing major just my first time shooting a small gun. that is my favorite gun now i went and bought another 50 rounds and only left because i had work. i loved shooting it. it felt solid in my hand and once i got the hang of it i was able to group them all within a 6in circle.
