I bought the OD 9mm xd service model about month ago. I have about 500 rounds through mine without any failures...hope that you enjoy your XD!

Bite your tounge!! Someone should smack you silly!! You can NEVER have to many guns. I have been trying to prove that for years.

Yet you did get one hell of a great deal on your pair of XD's. Wish I was that lucky. The O.D. Green looks awsome.

Wow,

Pretty soon your gun safe will look like my kids Easter Basket!

Kidding, to each his own right...

Personally I worry about re-sale value when and if the current, "colored" craze dies...

I thought the same thing until i bought my OD green XD45 tactical. I looked elsewhere & couldn't find a "normal" colored XD45 with that 5" barrel, so i went back & bought the green one. When i got out to the car & my buddy & i took a second look at the XD (in the friggin parking lot ), my buddy informed me that it was the same color as the pullover i was wearing. I have grown to like it very much, even put an OD tapco stock on my SKS to keep the XD from feeling like an outcast. My first tupperware pistol & it was OD green too--what a day.

Yeah, but what a Easter Basket you would have.

I am not worried about the re-sale value because in 20 yrs I have only sold 2 of my weapons. Both to people I know.
