Default Laser sight for 9mm XD

I know someone who has been wanting a laser for their XD for awhile now. I don't know much about lasers, but I'm trying to help them out. We looked at crimson trace, but she can't really justify $300-$400 for a laser. She'd like to keep the price around $100-$150 or so. We found this, and it looks great.

Does anyone know anything about the quality of it?

I read up on them and they seemed to be of good quality. I have one for sale on this board, I bought it to mount on a SW 9ve but sold the gun before I recieved the laser, it is still in the package like brand new. I am asking 90.00 shipped if interested.
