Default Keeping a loaded magazine bad?

Have an SA XD tactical 45 (awesome gun) which I just got recently and I keep one magazine fully loaded and stored for home protection purposes, will this weaken the spring on it?

No. Your spring will be fine.

No It's fine. Constantly loading and unloading is worse.

Nope, keep all of mine loaded. Compressing a spring doesn't weaken it.

I have 1911 magazines that have been kept loaded for over 30 years and they still function just fine. I have no reason to think the same will not be true of my XD magazines.
