Do your research on +p+ and you will find that often times it is slower than +p........+p+ is not regulated by SAAMI and might be anything from slow to risking failure depending on the firearm it is shot from. 1911 probably ok, a Glock might not like it because the chamber support sucks for high pressure loads. It all comes down to seeing the actual FPS.....what’s your line of business and do they let you carry anything other than a pistol if you have barrier concerns?

9mm is fine. I have every caliber on that picto-ma-bob above (plus a few more), and shoot them all quite well. I have multiple 45acp options and I've earned a respectable skill level with each. And 357mag too. Yet I almost always carry a 9mm. And I keep a 9mm on my desk. I'll put 2-3 shots of 9mm on any target, and fast.

What else matters?

P.S.- Brilliantly insightful threads seem to be sprouting from the same seeds, time and again.

Uhhh...no. I've noticed the same pattern. Not just in subject matter, but author as well.
