I love my XD. The first LGS I visited to check out the XD was met with a guy first trying to sell me a Glock because he was a Glock guy and then an XDm "because they are better". I'm sure for the right person the M is better but not for me. I ended up paying less than $500 for my XD 9 with all the extras and am very pleased. It feels great in the hand and has great balance.
