Default Is break free clp safe for xds?

Apologies in advance for possible duplicity of thread.

New to the firearm community, I have an xd .45acp and was wondering if clp is safe for polymer pistols, how much is too much etc.

I appreciate the help...and go easy on the noob

I've used Break Free CLP on all my polymer guns for years with no problems.

For the bore and the firing channel, I would use Gun Scrubber Synthetic Safe. I usually get it from eBay or Amazon.com.

its safe on polymer. i use it as a bore preservative. just be sure to wipe the bore out before shooting
