We do that at our shop. If somebody is more than just window shopping. I like to do that to people that come in determined to buy a glock (not trying to start a glock vs...fight) But when i take them in the back, they shoot the glock9, and the SR9, Better ergonomics,better sights,better warranty, better customer service, made in USA, mag safety. 8 times out 10, they will purchase the SR. So yea...if they think you are a buyer..you can shoot the place up...
