For my Ruger LCP I carry it in an Uncle George's or, as of late, in a Remora holster. Both are good holsters. However I prefer the Remora.

Sorry Chainfire, but I have to disagree. Pocket holsters are a very safe, very effective way to carry a subcompact. I carry a Kahr CM9 or a J-Frame quite often.

Sure. I would argue that open carry is the best way to carry a defensive fire arm. Fastest deployment. No cover garments in the way to foul your draw. But the best choice isn't always an option.

I usually carry IWB at around 4 o'clock. Even in summer I'll dress to accommodate this with a loose fitting shirt over a normal fitting tee shirt. However, Hawaiian or Guayavera shirts are not always acceptable attire so the option of pocket carry is great to have. A gun in the pocket is better than no gun at all!
