Default Upgradable bench rest

Anyone have any thoughts on a good bench rest. I want one to zero in my 5 sporters (.22 through 30-06) & target shoot just for fun. But who knows, maybe I'll get more serious & will need to upgrade the rest. Right now it's between a Hart rest (they've several models) & a Sinclair. If I go with the Sinclair not really sure if I should go with the All-Purpose model. Prbly don't need windage adj. for now--maybe never. These are all sub $300.
