The problem with the Xiphos is that there are very few holsters that will accommodate it.

There are darn few holsters that let you use any light or under barrel lasers. I ended up with a tactical rig that straps to my leg. I much prefer Trijicon sites and an internal laser.

I'm still waiting on streamlight to stop making such weak lights. 160 lumens? Thats all? I will stick with my 235 lumen that causes temporary blindness even in a well light room at 30 yards. But thats just me. But I am not in to the whole tacticool scene. My gsx flashlight cost me 70 bucks, is very lightweight and about the size of the smaller surefires, but is brighter than any of them. I will just hold it in my weak hand if i have to use my gun too. Seemed to work for people for a long time, and it doesn't require to you muzzle sweep everything you point your light at.

of course, you could always get one of these for your weak hand. These things seriously, no joke, cause gratuitous amounts of pain when you get hit in the eyes with them.

You have to remember as well that for personal defense there is such thing as too bright. You want to blind your attacker but you don't want to blind yourself in the process. You shouldn't really be engaging targets past 25-50 yards with a hand gun anyway.
