Does anyone have any suggestions on a descent foregrip with a taclight attached? I found one thats almost 500$ and maybe I'm crazy, but I think that price is insane. I found another, that also has a laser attached for about 250. I guess that's no so bad considering what you get, but its still a bit high in my eyes. So I figured is ask if anyone has any better (or should I say cheaper) product.

The Surefire is probably what you found, I trust my life to surefire. You can buy a grip for about 20-80 depending image maker and material. Then just mount a flashlight holder with it and then the real cost and quality depend on what light you want to mount. I have everything from crank lights and mag lights mounted. Dont do that if you want quality and dependability. Like I said, I trust my life to surefire. I have 2 mounted on my M4, one is my primary and strobe, the other is incase something happens to my primary again, aka it gets shot again.

I have SEEN cranklights and mag lights mounted, wow bad typo. Lights like that are just a bad idea and Murphy is waiting.

I've got a major hard on for a Surefire integrated fore end for my Remmy 1100. About $420 out the door (and to mine). As I've griped about in the past the 1100 is hard to find tactical stuff for. 870s? No prob, and the lights are cheaper to boot.

I'm torn between the $420 Surefire (a 200 lumens sun-tan machine, by the way) and simply bolting up a length of Magpul MOE rail and clipping a $200 tlr2s to it (combo laser/lit). My concern is the clamp on... I've been thru about 3 lights. The shotty is really hard on lights.

Oh, another thought? My LEO pal points out that a gun mounted light is a TARGET. I hadn't thought of that. A LEO can light up a bad guy and pull the trigger. Something you'd best be willing to do if you light up a target...and it's a different ball game when your a home owner.

All that said... I want the Surefire. :-). Though the stream light is a cool second thought

I have the surefire integrated vertical grip and light on my patrol rifle (ar-15 ) as well as the hand grip replacement for my Mossberg500 tactical for home defence. My reasoning for spending the cash on surefire is that if im going to trust my life in a flashlight I want one that I know will work 100% of the time I need it. Just remember if your placing it on a shotgun go led all the way. Incandescent bulbs just don't hold up to the shotgun recoil as well, no matter how well they are made. Remember it's all about reliability! :-)

I have the Surefire M500A Handguard on my AR-15 SBR. Money well spent. I also have the Surefire X300 on my Beretta 96A1. Plus about 3 other Surefire lights. The new LED lights are super bright.
You can't go wrong with a Surefire.

This one is a UTG. I know some of their stuff is junk, but this things been really tough on my AR. 150 lumens and pretty good battery life. I got it for like $50.
