Default Suppressor

Thinking about getting a suppressor from advanced armament, however, gemtech is supposed to have really good suppressors as well. Does anyone happen to have experience with both? I am planning on getting 3 different suppressors by the end of it possibly 4. One for a .22 Anschutz another for a .308 FN Patrol Bolt Rifle, A 9mm CZ 75 and an additional one for various AR 15's. So please, anyone that can enlighten me please do so without hesitancy.

I don't know about suppressors, but it's really nice to see you Samples. Merry Christmas.

Glad you are back sweetie! You have been missed.

Gemtech is lagging in design lately. There is nothing wrong with their stuff, but it is an older design that isn't as effective

The new stuff from AAC ( Ti-Rant line ) has been getting very good reviews, especially with their dry cans in noise suppression.

The "Black Box" line from AAC has been promised for years now and eveyrone is still waiting on that little monster to hit the market, because it is HIGHLY anticipated.

The big boys on the market are still Brugger-Thomet, but they are a german company and you have to import them, which is still a ton of expense and paperwork.

I guess I will stick with AAC then I actually got some calibri's to go throught that Anschutz and all that you can hear is a firing pin hitting, but they are about 3 inches to the right and 6 inches low while everything else I have shot through it is dead on, so I decided to suppress it instead and thank you spit and dillinger for the WB and it's nice talking to you guys

birdie how do you get a 17 or 22 cal suppressor to work with a 30 cal bullet?

Same goes how you do you a 17 or 22 cal bullet to work with a 30 cal suppressor?

From all the research and looking I have done suppressors are caliber specific. IE you can't use a 45 acp suppressor on a 9mm and get any effectiveness.

I was wondering about that too, but I was thinking maybe I was just ignorant about some things...

Welcome back Samples! You do have to get a caliber specific supressor for each different caliber.
