Most all plate carriers I have ever seen are like the top posted pic, Nah Just Kidding . but carriers are carriers some just have more fancy features than others , I rarely ever see the 3 gun guys with one but alot of people do where them in the carbine courses . They usually use mag carriers . Personally I know they are hot to wear , your rifle takes some getting used to shouldering as its a different feel with one on if it has wide padded straps, which required one less hole on the stock adjustment for me , because it shouldered half on half off the strap . With plates they are heavy , I know fully loaded out 6 full 30 rd mags, 2 full pistol mags, 9mm pistol with holster, multi tool , and mag dump bag. With front , back and side plates it weighted around that 34# range if I remember correctly , it could have been more weight but I know it wasnt any less . Sorry , no pics to post for me , just thought I would give some input . God help us as civys, if we ever need one plated up

No joke. That's why I stress if you're going to take training seriously, and invest your last penny in weapons, food, ammo, and water, then you need to get serious about getting in shape. I truly believe that being out of shape could kill you (in a thousand different ways) faster than running out of any of the other stuff could. I'm no super health freak, but these 350 pound guys that have cigars in one hand, a glass of whiskey in the other sitting around taking pictures of all these 338 lapua, barrets, saigas, Desert Eagles, and ARs that weigh 40 pounds are only kidding themselves. Sometimes the guy who lives may be the guy who can shoot better when their heart rate is 175. If you're at that point just by walking up the stairs, my money's on the other guy.

BTW, I like whiskey and cigars. But everything in moderation.
