shooting bench

Anyone ever make a shooting bench using a pole as the main frame?

The only bad thing about building one like that,is making it stable enough when you put your gun/body weight on it.
If you welded braces off the post to support the shooting table,it would work well.

I built a portable shooting bench a couple years ago using folding sawhorse legs, and a custom made plastic shooting table. It works great, and either LH or RH shooters can use it.

That one looks good. I have a lathe and mill and do welding and I saw one that I really liked. I'm needing a project and have the idea in my head but was wanting to see some from people on here to get different ideas

The Razz Bench from RCBS may give you a few ideas.

Yea I like this bench but was thinking of having a table top. I know someone on here has made one or two of these things. The one pictured is nice don't get me wrong but I'm looking for something a bit heavier duty then this one. Its going to take a beating sitting outside and bouncing around in the back of the truck. Looking for something that will last for years
