standard shot-gun scope,ive tried the red-dot but you wont regret
the bushnell banner, i so happen to have a good used one with weaver
base,for a 835 and i also have a Kicks Gobling thunder choke ported
best shooting choke out there,4 sell????????

I have used a red dot on my 11-87 for a few years now, I love it. HAs never failed me and the "no magnification power, no parallex" has come in handy. The last bird I harvested was less than 15 yards, would have been tough with any magnification power on the scope. I'm not sure what brand it is, but I paid about 30 bucks for it from Cabelas. Highly recommend it (red dot) for a turkey gun.
Aw man, you just made me get a flood of anticipation for spring turkey season.

even if the light goes out, the scope helps me to aim the gun, just center the target in the tube.
i was able to shoot 23 out of 25 hand thrown clays without the battery in the red dot
Grabbed a cheapy Pine Ridge scope today on my stop by Cabela's. I guess Pine Ridge is their brand. Ran me $70 and I had to pickup a Weaver rail for another $7. Mounted it tonight and it looks good! I'll have to see how it shoots on my next trip over to the cabin.
