Default New Light

OK, I need some of your opinions for a flashlight I'm getting I've narrowed it down to two:

57695 - S&W M&P Cree XLamp LED Mid-Size Tactical Flashlight, 160 Lumens, 0.85" Diameter, Black

VS.

LIGHT-151 - Leapers UTG Defender Series Mount and Handheld 6V LED Flashlight, Twist on, Push Button and Remote Pressure Switch

I like that the UTG can be mounted but I'm not sure if the S&W one can. Let me know what you guys think.

Check the related items under the S&W M&P. It looks like it can be mounted with an adapter to an AR or SUR, but I am not sure if it will have the hardware to adapt it to a pistol.

Saying that, I would personally go with the UTG as well, it seems to have more versatile uses and adaptions for mountings on both pistol and SUR.

Do you want to mount it? Or do you want it to be held in your hand and used to light up the area you are searching?

Because it makes a BIG difference.

I think for now it won't be mounted but when I get my shotgun I want it mounted. I've read in the reviews that the pressure switch is useless so I'm prepared to buy a new one.

If you want to mount it, then the UTG is very good. But if you just want it to be held in your hand. Then a simple Tactical Flashlight enough.
