Nice, im talking to him about makeing a holster for my wife for a Christmas present. Black leather with hot pink stitching for her jframe. It should turn out really nice. And if I cant get it before Christmas her birthday is the end of January. Always gotta have a backup plan.

Im getting my 1911 in a couple months so I told him to be ready for another order. How do you like your Ruger 1911? Im still looking for the right 1911 for me.

It has been awesome. The first time I shot it I was a little off, but after that I've been dead on. I love everything about it. It's my first 1911 and no regrets at all. My next gun will either be a Ruger GP100 or a 10mm on a 1911 platform.

I bought the Gp100 first and I love that revolver. I actually went to the range today and fired off a few rounds. Cant go wrong with a Ruger.

Dave (Longballer71) does some awesome work with leather and wood! truly awesome. and his prices are very good compared to the quality of the item. this forum is very fortunate to have him as a member here. i have talked to Dave on the phone and by email several times and he is really a nice guy and down to earth kind of person. even though i have not met him in person, i would be proud to call him my friend.
here are some his grips on a couple of my pistols.

He's fine, just had a rough/busy week around Thanksgiving. I can't wait to post up the double cowboy rig he is making for me.
